- Taking cues from my wrapped
cart, I built a wheeled construction specifically
- to haul and store Refuge
and Drift. Little did I know that this gesture
- would transform the paintings
into a transitional sculpture.
- This piece has lifted the space
of painting onto wheels. It has opened up a dialogue
- with the objecthood of painting
and the portability of a space that
- has the potential to be explored
in the future.
