- As I have documented Refuge
in the process, I find it important to do the same with Drift.
- The difference I found with
the Drift in regards to Refuge, is that the snow
shovel that
- is to inhabit the painting
becomes an absent image,
residue of an action that has been
- left over, or is up about
to occur.This occurrence can be
said to be of the
- same transient nature of the
seasons itself.
- Another read on this piece
in the state of which is shown on the right, could be a reaction
to
- painting, but it is more about
the gesture of digging through paintings history than it is
- about reacting against it.
